Absolutely the best strawberries my family and I have ever tasted! Alpena strawberries are a very special part of summer, and the very best Alpena strawberries are at AJ's. It was definitely worth the drive up from East Tawas to get them. The farm is run by some of the nicest people, and their grandmother even went out of her way to sell me some fresh-picked rhubarb from her garden that I needed for our cousin's dessert recipe. The strawberry rhubarb crumble that resulted was absolutely out of this world! Thank you, Grandma AJ! I plan to make a strawberry season trip to AJ's an annual event!
